This is My Story
Richard Felix is most famous as the Historian for Living TV’s Most Haunted appearing in over 120 episodes.
Richard has always been fascinated in history, especially military history with a special interest in disasters e.g. Charge of the Light Brigade, The Alamo, Custer’s Last Stand, and the Titanic.
At the age of 18 he had his own personal disaster after being diagnosed with terminal cancer. “It is not until you are faced with death that you realise how important life is.”
For many years he has been a columnist for the Derby Telegraph, dealing with Derby’s fascinating local history He is a regular contributor to Radio Derby.
In 1992 Richard opened The Derby Heritage Centre. (A Tudor Grammar School) with ghosts and this started the origins of the now world famous Derby Ghost Walk.
Richard specialises in ghost tours around the U.K. and Ireland and has personally taken in excess of a million people on a ghost tour.
In 1995 he launched a campaign to erect a statue of Bonnie Prince Charlie in Derby. This he achieved after raising over £100,000
Twenty two years ago he opened the haunted Derby Gaol; scene of the last Hanging, Drawing and Quartering in England.
For many years Richard has delivered lectures and talks to Derby University and many Derby Schools, various W I groups, Rotary Clubs and after dinner speeches.

Richard's Early Life
In 1973 he joined The Territorial Army as a potential officer with the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry.
In 1976 he was commissioned into A (Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry Squadron) the 3rd Battalion Worcester and Sherwood Foresters reaching the rank of Captain.

The knowledge and expertise gathered by Richard over many years drew him to the attention of the T.V. and radio media and he has appeared on many programmes. Four years ago he became the Paranormal Historian on the world acclaimed T.V. programme Most Haunted. Richard has visited America on numerus occasions from conducting Paranormal Tours, Conversions, Paracon, Radios shows, Co Host on Ghost Chronicles), Books signings, but also coving 8 states of America with Paranormal colleges including Ron Kolek (Ghost Chronicles), Jeff Belanger (Ghost Village), Jason Hawes (TAPS Ghost hunters), Patrick Burns (Hunting Evidence), Stacey Jones (Ghost Cops), Chris Fleming (Dead Famous), Dave Schrader (Darkness Radio), Brian J Cano (Haunted Collector), Amy Goodwin (Aaron Goodwin Sister from Ghost Adventures), Carmen Reed (Connecticut Haunting) and many more.
Richard is now currently working on various TV shows including The Inquisition, Spymasters, Forbidden History and Medieval Murder and Mystery and many more.
He is at present appearing in national theatre on a tour entitled Psychic and Science, where the Godfathers of the Paranormal explain what is a ghost but also throughout the show you will be asked to take part in actives, are you brave enough to take part?.
